My Revere.. To All My Friends......

Our family vacation is full of fun and very interesting. Guatemala is a nice country. The weather in the city is awesome. We met my husband's brother, sister, nieces and nephews. My children had a great time with their cousins. They were able to practice their spanish. My kids didn't realize that they can understand 80 % & speak 40% of the language.We went to the following places like Tikal, Rio Dulce, Monterico beach, Puerto Quetzal Beach and Antigua. Tikal is so beautiful, full of history and the architecture is amazing. Rio Dulce is ok. We just passed by to have lunch and plan to go back on our way home from Tikal. On the way back to Tikal, we got into a car accident. The 18th wheeler pushed us off the road when we overtake and the van hit the cement post. It  was a scary moment to see my oldest son's head bleeding. He had total of 17 stitches (food, back of ear & 2 on his head). And I hit the front  metal frame of the chair in front of me. My left face and eyes got swollen.  My oldest daughter had a bump on her leg . Thank God my youngest son and husband are ok.  I  had a very high fever and  throwing up because of the trauma.  The hospital took a CT  scan and  x ray  of my face head and  spine. My husband immediately call the US Embassy and the Embassy dispatched  the US Navy ship  stationed in Rio Dulce.  After 15 mins. the American neurology came to the hospital and check my CT scan and x-ray. He said, everything is ok and there's no need to transport me to the US Navy ship hospital. The Guatemalan hospital is nice and the  doctors and nurses are well trained.  The american doctor told my husband that they are in Guatemala to trained the Neuro. doctors of the hospital.  We are so lucky  and thankful . After the accident, we stayed home for a couple of days beacuse I still have a high fever and nausea. After 2 days, we are back on the road . We went to Monterico Beach the Pacific side of Guatemala. It was so hot and humid. The place is also nice but too bad we didn't get a chance to take some picture because of our injury. God is so good. He is our guardian angel. Thank you God.
